Review and test your projects
Documentation and examples may contain mistakes or may not match your
project, app version, or macOS version. Review code before running it. Test file handling,
permissions, and native integrations in the exported app, not only in Preview. Keep backups
and use disposable copies when testing code that changes files.
You are responsible for the content you provide and the code you choose to use. Only use
files, code, and other materials that you have permission to use, and respect applicable
laws, third-party licenses, and platform rules.
Personal tools and local testing
HTML to App exports configure a bundled, precompiled launcher. They do not compile new
native code. Exported bundles are ad hoc signed for personal use and local testing, not
prepared for public distribution or Mac App Store submission.
Local launch approval does not provide Developer ID signing, notarization,
or App Store approval for your exports. It does not replace the Apple Developer Program
or Apple's applicable distribution requirements. See the
export documentation and
first-launch guidance.
Mac App Store purchases
Purchases and use of the Mac app remain governed by the applicable Mac App Store terms
and software license. These website terms do not replace those terms or
limit rights that applicable consumer law gives you.
Privacy and your content
Read our Privacy Policy for information about website
analytics, local project files, and file access in the Mac app and exported bundles.
Availability and limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and documentation are
provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted availability,
accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee any particular result
from using the documentation or examples. Nothing in these terms excludes
responsibilities or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
